Vigen atop the aggregate following Day 3 at Calgary Stampede
Three consecutive second-place runs has given Grande Prairie’s Chanse Vigen the top spot in the aggregate following Sunday night’s running of the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby.
A downpour before the show made for slower track conditions, but didn’t drive away an at capacity crowd from taking in the action.
The fastest run of the night came from Jamie Laboucane with a time of 1:13.79. He won the day money and placed just 44-hundredths of a second faster than Vigen.
In the overall aggregate standings, Vigen has a three-day total run time of 3:38.79, putting him just 23-hundredths of a second ahead of day three winner Laboucane.
