Jul 8, 2025 | 6:44 AM

The World Professional Chuckwagon Association’s running of the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby continued Monday night with an at capacity crowd to watch racing at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

The best of Day 4 was Grande Prairie’s Chanse Vigen, posting the fastest run time of the meet so far of 1:11.39.

Vigen had come in second the three previous nights. He took the top spot and the day money with just 4 one-hundredths of a second over 2022 Rangeland Derby Champion Kris Molle.

With the first place win, Vigen continues to sit atop the aggregate with a combined four day total of 4:50.18. Jamie Laboucane and Molle sit second and third respectively.

The top three in the aggregate after Saturday’s races will go into the championship final heat on Sunday evening, where the winner will be declared the 2025 Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby Champion.
