Town of Grimshaw unveils commemorative bench honoring late community member

The Town of Grimshaw recognized the installation of a new bench along their main street on Wednesday, July 9 in memory of a long-time resident.
The bench was installed by Beyond 2000 in memory of Joanne Backstrom who passed away last year at the age of 68.
The bench was brought about thanks to the combined efforts of Backstrom’s surviving friends and family.
It commemorates Backstrom as a mom, grandma, friend and great waitress.
