Vigen wins day money, keeps #1 spot at Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby
Grande Prairie’s very own Chanse Vigen has been steadily keeping atop the standings down at the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby.
Some rain didn’t dampen spirits on Day 6 of the competition with an at capacity crowd to watch the chuckwagon races.
Despite a one-second penalty for his wagon starting ahead of the horn, Vigen still had the fastest time of the night with a 1:12.85. This was the second day money run of Calgary Stampede for Vigen.
The top five overall remains the same as night 5, with Vigen in the top spot with a 2.56 second lead, followed by Jamie Laboucane, Rae Croteau Jr., Logan Gorst, and Obrey Motowylo.
