City of Grande Prairie closing 84 Avenue both directions Jul. 13

The City of Grande Prairie is temporarily closing a portion of 84 Avenue.

As part of their ongoing construction, the road will be closed both westbound and eastbound between Mission Heights Drive and the bridge of Bear Creek starting Sunday, July 13.

To maintain two-way traffic, vehicles will be shifted to the eastbound lands, with this configuration expected to remain in place throughout the week, weather permitting.

Motorists are being asked to slow down and follow any posted signage while in the construction zone.
