Finalists set at Rangeland Derby wagons, Fike still leads at Teepee Creek

It will be Chanse Vigen, Jamie Laboucane and Jason Glass in the championship final at the Calgary Stampede’s Rangeland Derby.

Vigen leads the aggregate with a total running time of 10:54.33 seconds.

Rae Croteau Jr. had the fastest time on the day Saturday at 1:11.84 followed by Glass, Logan Gorst, and Laboucane with Vigen and Evan Salmond tied for fifth.

Mitch Sutherland is 15th the aggregate, Dayton Sutherland 18th and Cody Ridsdale 25th.

Teepee Creek

Jordie Fike remains in the overall lead with one night of WPCA racing left to go at the Teepee Creek Stampede.

Luke Tournier’s wagon, with Lane Tournier driving, Doug Irvine, and Kirk Sutherland come next. Doug Irvine Wagon # 2 and Tuff Dreger are tied for fifth overall, with Dean Dreger in seventh.

Irvine had the fastest time Saturday, followed by Sutherland, Tournier, Fike and Tuff Dreger.

The driver in first place in the aggregate after Sunday will be named the Teepee Creek Champion.

The evening show starts at 6 p.m. with the grand entry.
