Top lift paving on 84 Avenue set to begin July 21

The City of Grande Prairie is advising of top lift paving work slated to begin next week.

City crews are expected to begin adding a final layer of asphalt to 84 Avenue as early as Monday July 21, weather permitting.

The work will help seal the road from water infiltration and improve skid resistance.

Motorists can expect minor delays and lane restrictions while the work is ongoing.

Please watch for signage and follow posted speed limits while in the construction zone.
