Heritage Day long weekend facility hours

The City of Grande Prairie released its hours of operation for Heritage Day (Monday, August 4).

On the holiday Monday, a majority of city facilities will be closed:

  • City Hall
  • City Service Centre
  • Eastlink Centre
  • PlayCare
  • Design Works Centre
  • Bonnetts Energy Centre
  • Montrose Cultural Centre
  • Grande Prairie Museum
  • Dave Barr Community Centre
  • Keyera Place Grande Prairie
  • Cedar Point

However, the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion and Aquatera Outdoor Pool will be open from noon to 5 p.m.

During the holiday, transit will also operate on limited hours, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and late on-demand service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The City also want to remind residents of two events taking place at Muskossepi Park this weekend; Around the World in Bites on Saturday, August 2, and Heritage Day celebrations on Monday, August 4.
