2026 Census of Agriculture questionnaire unveiled

Statistics Canada has published the questionnaire for the 2026 Census of Agriculture on its website.

A release says new categories have been added for emerging products.

Questions on environmental practices and sustainability have been added to the section on agricultural practices.

The questions on farm technologies and renewable energy have been updated.

The census is done every five years.

Statistics Canada says the 2026 edition will build on the one done in 2021 by keeping what it calls “key content.”
