Salvation Army’s Captain Kim receives King Charles III Coronation Medal
A Grande Prairie local is one of the newest recipients of a medal meant to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to their community, province/territory, or region in Canada, or made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to the country.
The Salvation Army’s Captain Peter Kim received the King Charles III Coronation Medal on Monday, August 4, from Grande Prairie-Mackenzie MP Chris Warkentin.
Captain Kim spoke with EverythingGP and believes it was Warkentin who nominated him.
Kim says he is honoured and humbled to receive such a medal.
