UPDATE: Section of Range Road 63 closing overnight for construction Aug 11-12

The County of Grande Prairie is advising motorists that the delayed closure of Range Road 63 goes into effect Monday, August 11.

The road will be closed between Highway 43 and Township Road 724 from 6:00 p.m. tonight until 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, to allow crews to complete work overnight when traffic is reduced.

The road will remain under construction after the closure ends for approximately two weeks, weather depending.

Due to forecasted rainfall, the Range Road 63 closure between Highway 43 and Township Road 724 has been delayed until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8.

The County of Grande Prairie is advising motorists that the planned closure of Range Road 63 will be slightly extended.

The road will be closed between Highway 43 and Township Road 724 from 6:00 p.m. Wednesday August 6, until 6:00 a.m. Thursday August 7, to allow crews to complete work overnight when traffic is reduced.

During the closure, access will be given to residents and business employees located along the affected route.

The road will remain under construction after the closure ends and will shift to single lane alternating traffic for approximately three weeks, weather depending.
