Town officials launch survey on the Wembley Medical Clinic

Town officials in Wembley have launched a survey they say is part of an effort to reopen the community’s medical clinic.

The online survey located on the town’s website asks things like if people currently have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, where they live and what other services they might like to see at the clinic.

It was announced in February of this year that the clinic would close at the end of May because one doctor moved to Nova Scotia and the other could not take over the practice because of College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta regulations.

The clinic first opened in 2020.
