Grande Prairie golfer wins title at Golf Canada tournament

Aug 10, 2025 | 11:00 AM

A Grande Prairie golfer has won one of the titles available at the Canadian All Abilities Championship played in Kamloops.

Kelly Masson won the men’s title under the Net Stableford scoring system with 112 points, four up on the second-place finisher.

This system is based on a player’s handicap and awards points for how they shoot on a given hole.

A post on the Golf Canada website says Masson scored 21 points on the back nine during his final round, the best score in the tournament.

Masson also finished seventh in stroke play.

The tournament was played Tuesday through Thursday, August 5 through 7.

Full leaderboards for all four categories at the championship can be found here.
