Grande Prairie RCMP arrest three suspects following carjacking

Grande Prairie RCMP arrested three suspects Thursday, following a vehicle collision and subsequent carjacking.

On Aug. 21, a stolen vehicle and a civilian vehicle collided, the passengers of the stolen vehicle then produced a knife and stole the victim’s vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was located in the City of Grande Prairie, and all three suspects were arrested that day.

Thirty-four-year-old Bradlee Post, 28-year-old Brendon McPherson, and 21-year-old Jasmine Seymour are facing eight charges:

  • Robbery
  • Possession of Property obtained by Crime (x2)
  • Flight PO
  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Uttering Threats
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Break and Enter

Post and McPherson were remanded into custody and will appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie Sept. 8, while Seymour was released to appear in court Sept. 28.
