Grande Prairie Storm exhibition home opener Tuesday night

Hockey is back in the Peace Region!

The AJHL’s Grande Prairie Storm are kicking off their first exhibition game at home Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Bonnetts Energy Centre against the Drayton Valley Thunder.

This will be the only exhibition game being played at Bonnetts.

Puck drop is 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be bought online, or at the box office.

The Storm had an outstanding last season, making it to the AJHL Finals, but falling to the Calgary Canucks in the Championship Series.

Head Coach Chris Schmidt was also nominated for the CJHL’s Head Coach of the Year award for the 2024-25 season.
