Aug 29, 2025 | 4:51 PM

Multiple construction projects begin in the County of Grande Prairie over the next few days.

Starting Saturday, Aug. 30 milling and paving work along Resources Road and Township Road 710 will begin, resulting in a speed reduction and switching to single lane alternating traffic until mid October.

Then on Monday, Sept. 1 culvert replacement work began at the Updike Creek bridge, reducing speed and closing the road to local traffic only until the end of September.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 2 Township Road 744, between Range Road 50 and 51 is open to local traffic only until Thursday, as crews replace the centreline culvert.

The County is thanking all drivers for following the posted signage and obeying any flag personnel while all these projects continue.
