Experience Grande Prairie taking place Aug. 29

The City of Grande Prairie’s summer celebration Experience Grande Prairie is taking place in the downtown area today.

You are invited to stop by from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 101 Ave. and 101 St. to enjoy food vendors, community booths from local organizations, children’s activities like face painting and balloon animals, and over sized lawn games.

Headlining the musical performances this year are six time Juno award nominees; The Trews, with the Markevich Youth Band, and Albertan indie band Hey! Driver among the other acts.
