GPES reminding residents to be safe on trails, paths, and in parks
Enforcement Services in the City is asking people to be mindful of the Wheeled Conveyances and Parklands bylaws as summer winds down.
GPES say everyone is responsible for keeping public spaces safe and enjoyable for all.
For the safety of trail users, GPES is reminding people that vespa-style scooters GenZe scooters, Juiced Scramblers, CSC City Slickers, golf carts, golfboards, and gas or diesel powered ATVs are strictly prohibited from trails.
Enforcement Services say that under the city’s Parklands Bylaw, all bicycles (manual or electric), scooters, skateboards, inline skates, rollerblades, hoverboards, electric unicycles, segways, and mobility aids are allowed on pathways, trails, and parklands.
