Mighty Peace Football leagues kicks-off

The first Mighty Peace Football game of the year between the GP Comp. and Sexsmith Sabres was cut short on Thursday, Aug. 28.

Extreme heat played a big factor in the decision, aswell as the Sabres having only 16 eligble players.

It was deemed a forfeit resulting in a 14-0 win for the Comp.

A peace region squad will be battling it out on the gridiron again tonight, as the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans visit the Spruce Grove Panthers.
