Grande Prairie RCMP report missing youth found safe

Grande Prairie RCMP are advising that Mackenzie Smith has been located safe.

They are thanking the public and media for their assistance in this matter.

Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing youth, 16-year-old Mackenzie Smith.

Smith was last seen on Aug. 27, 2025, in Grande Prairie and police are concerned for their wellbeing.

Smith is described as:

Medium complexion;
5 feet 5 inches tall;
198 pounds;
Brown hair;
Brown eyes;

They were last seen wearing a black hoodie with purple writing, black shorts, flip flops, and a black backpack.
