Minor construction happening on four city roads

The City of Grande Prairie began several road rehabilitation projects over the long weekend.

On Monday September 1, the City began mill and overlay work on four roadways:

• 96 Street from 100 Avenue to 107 Avenue and Hillcrest Drive
• 101 Avenue from 98 Street to 100 Street, excluding the 101 Street intersection
• 98 Avenue from 95 Street to 96 Street
• 97A Street from 76 Avenue to 77 Avenue

The work will reduce sections of these roads to single lane alternating, traffic, and transit disruptions are anticipated.

It’s expected to be completed by mid-September.
