Confirmed measles case at Central Peace Health Complex

A person infected with measles was out in a public setting in Spirit River last week.

On Monday, Aug. 25, someone who had a confirmed case of measles was at the Central Peace Health Complex Emergency Department from 2:05 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Now, anyone who was at the Central Peace ED during that time, and has not received their vaccination is at risk of developing the disease.

If Measles symptoms develop, AHS asks that you stay home and call the hotline at 1-844-944-3434.
