Peace Regional RCMP take wanted man into custody

Peace Regional RCMP took a suspect wanted on multiple warrants last month.

While on proactive patrols in downtown Peace River on Aug. 31, Mounties came across Olen Rayne Letendre, a 30-year-old resident of Loon Lake, sleeping near an alleyway.

They discovered that Letendre was wanted on warrants out of both Peace River and Red Earth Creek, which included break and enter, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

He was taken and remanded into custody with a court date set for Monday, Sept 15.
