The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is throwing a party on Saturday, September 13 for its tenth anniversary.

There are activities planned during the day between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Those will include bonebed and fossil lab tours, plus screenings of the episode of the miniseries Walking with Dinosaurs that features the bonebed at Pipestone Creek.

There is also an evening social from 6:00-9:00 p.m. that will feature a presentation, question and answer session and book signing with Dr. Dean Lomax.

“Dr. Lomax is an internationally recognized British palaeontologist, multi-award-winning author and TV presenter. He travels across the world excavating and researching dinosaurs and other ancient animals, discovering and naming new species,” says a release from the museum.
