UPDATE: Grande Prairie man dead after dirt bike crash

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say a 40-year-old man from the Swan City is dead after a dirt bike crash Sunday morning.

Mounties say the single vehicle crash happened at 116 Avenue and 102 Street. Police were called out at around 7:30 a.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency crews tried to save him.

No other details have been released.

The intersection was blocked for several hours but has re-opened.
