Jumpstart Playground opens at Lions Park

The new Jumpstart Inclusive Playground is open at Lions Park.

As of Wednesday, children and families have access to a new playground designed to remove physical and social barriers, with features like double-wide ramps and roller slides.

The City of Grande Prairie is thanking Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities for making the project possible, along with local dealers David Dungey and Lisa Mills for helping to secure Lions Park as the playground’s location.

A grand opening for the playground is planed for spring 2026.
