Mobile mammography unit coming to Hythe

The mobile mammography unit is coming to Hythe.

Primary Care Alberta’s Screen Test program will be located at the Hythe Legion from September 23 to 27.

Primary Care Alberta says in a release that “screening mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better.”

Health experts recommend that women aged 45 to 74 benefit the most from screening for breast cancer.

There is not cost for the test, but appointments are needed. These can be booked by calling 1-800-667-0604.
