Warrants issued for a suspect after vehicle & firearm seizure

RCMP in Alberta are looking for a man wanted on seven warrants after a firearm and stolen vehicle seizure in Peavine

Mounties were alerted to the property’s connection to a number of thefts from nearby industrial sites, and on Sept. 9, executed a warrant to search the residence.

Officers report finding:

Four stolen pickup trucks
A stolen dirt bike
A stolen ATV
Three flat deck trailers with removed vehicle identification numbers
Four unlawfully possessed firearms
Assortment of firearm ammunition
Copper wire cutting and stripping tools

During their search, a suspect identified as 45-year-old Sheldon Sinclair arrived at the property and fled; Mounties are now searching for him.

Sinclair is wanted on seven warrants:

Flight from police
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
Failure to comply with a release order
Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Four counts of possession of property obtained by crime equal to or less than $5,000
Unsafe storage of a firearm
Four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
Obstructing police
