County of Grande Prairie announces new Infrastructure Technology Grant
The County of Grande Prairie has announced a new grant to support small and medium businesses to upgrade their infrastructure.
The Business Retention and Expansion Grant- Infrastructure Technology provides a total of $26,000 in annual funding through a matching fund of up to $2,000 per year.
The funding will assist with technology-related infrastructure improvements such as broad band upgrades, point-of-sale systems, industrial automations and other critical digital tools.
This new program reflects council’s ongoing commitment to offering effective programs that support local businesses and help them stay competitive in an increasingly digital economy. We know that technology upgrades can be a major investment for small businesses.
