Peace Regional RCMP investigating possible arson

Peace Regional RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance investigating a suspected arson that occurred Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.

At approximately 2:25 a.m. Mounties responded to a report of a residential fire in the area of 102 Street in Peace River and worked with Peace River Fire Department to evacuate surrounding homes and extinguished the blaze.

At this time, the fire is being treated as suspicious, and an investigation is ongoing.

The Peace Regional RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of any suspicious activity at these times for the fire.
