Two candidates for mayor, 15 for council, in Peace River

There are two candidates for mayor and 15 for council in Peace River for the October 20 municipal election.

Incumbent mayor Elaine Manzer is being challenged by current councillor Shelly Shannon.

Four council candidates are incumbents, the rest are newcomers. They are vying for one of six seats.

The only councillor not seeking re-election is Marc Boychuk.
