Potential measles exposure in Fairview

Another case of measles was out in a public setting in Fairview last week, according to Alberta Health Services.

On Saturday, September 27, someone who had a confirmed case of measles was at the Fairview Health Complex emergency department from 11:10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

AHS says anyone who was at the Fairview ED during that time, and has not received their vaccination, is at risk of developing the disease.

If measles symptoms develop, AHS asks that you stay home and call the hotline at 1-844-944-3434.
