County of Grande Prairie Council Candidate Profile:

Allan Johnson, is one of three residents running in Division 9 for a County Council position.

He was asked to answer the following four questions with a 600-word limit.

1. What has inspired you to run for mayor/council/school trustee in the Oct. 20, 2025, municipal election?

Running now because I have time no other pressure will be able to represent properly

2. What skills or experience do you have that you feel would make you a good fit for the role?

As for skills I am a very good listener and communicateur well ive been on the farm all my life and am familar with the countys rôle

3. What do you feel are the key or main election issues in your community, and what are the issues of priority for you?

Property rights of landowners is big for me as wéll as road care and infrastructure I look forward to discussion with council
