Gill makes 41 saves as Storm beat Eagles

Leland Gill made 41 saves as the Storm beat visiting Canmore 5-1 Friday (Oct. 3) in the annual Hockey Hooky game.

Colin Doherty led the offence with two goals and one assist.

The win also moved the Storm from fifth to second in the North Division standings. Grande Prairie has two wins, two losses and a shootout loss so far this season.

The Storm are off until Olds comes to Grande Prairie Oct. 10 and 11.
