Eastlink Aquatic Centre completes annual maintenance

The aquatic area at the Eastlink Centre will reopen tomorrow.

It was closed at the start of September to allow staff to conduct a deep cleaning, annual inspections, mechanical maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.

During that time, staff discovered the liner of the lazy river is in need of replacement, so the lazy river will now remain closed until December.

The area around the lazy river will be fenced off during construction, with staff adjusting schedules to reduce the impacts.
