Clarification: Mideast-Wars-Gaza story

CAIRO (AP) — In a story published Oct. 6, 2025, The Associated Press reported that the 1973 war with Israel led to Egypt reclaiming the Sinai Peninsula. The story should have made clear that the war created some of the conditions that led to a peace treaty years later in which Israel withdrew from the territory.
