"All Staff Meeting"

County of Grande Prairie facilities closed for the day

Starting at 11:30 a.m., all County of Grande Prairie facilities will be closed for the day (Wednesday, Oct. 8).

An all-staff meeting is planned to take place today, affecting operations.

From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the Administration Building, the Transportation and Utilities Building, Community Services Building, Wellington Resource Centre, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), and the Clairmont and Hythe Offices, will be closed

The Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management and Grande Prairie Regional Animal Care Facility will be closed starting at 11:30 a.m., and will reopen Thursday morning.

While the County notes that neither the Elmworth nor the Grande Prairie Regional Transfer stations will open for the day.

Anyone needing to access a County facility is encouraged to visit before the 11:30 a.m. closure or wait for hours to return to normal on Thursday, Oct. 9.
