Grande Prairie STARS celebrates 40 years with open house event

Grande Prairie STARS is holding an open house Wednesday, Oct. 8, to celebrate 40 years of delivering advanced critical care.

The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service is giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about their legacy and operations through interactive stations.

Visitors can also take part in tours of their medical education unit and get a close-up look at the H145 STARS air ambulance helicopter.

It’s happening at the STARS Grande Prairie base from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
