Internet outages impacting Northern and Central Alberta

Multiple internet outages have been reported by TELUS in northern and central Alberta.

Impacted communities include Greenview, Valleyview, Whitecourt, and Fairview.

The outages in Fairview are impacting home phone service and 911 landlines, while the outages between Grande Prairie and Edmonton will affect mobile services, including texting and calling.

To accommodate temporarily down radio broadcasters, 93.1 Big County is broadcasting in Whitecourt and Drayton Valley.
