Peace Regional RCMP looking for suspects in “suspicious fire” investigation

Peace Regional RCMP are asking for the publics help in finding those responsible for a “suspicious fire” last week.

On Monday, Oct. 13, while doing proactive patrols in downtown Peace River at 3:45 a.m., Mounties noticed a building ablaze in the area of 94 Street.

The local fire department responded and an investigation is underway.

Peace Regional RCMP say they believe the fire is suspicious, and obtained some footage from the area, however, at this point they do not have any suspects.

Anyone with information or video surveillance from the area of the fire is asked to contact the detachment at 780-624-6611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8377 (TIPS).
