Halloween Spooktacular set for Saturday

The Downtown Association and the city are hosting Halloween Spooktacular Saturday (October 25).

There will be a children’s costume contest, a haunted house, entertainment for families, and lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Bowes (Bonnetts Energy Centre).

That will be followed by trick-or-treating at businesses along 100 Avenue from 1 to 3 p.m.

“The Downtown Association is proud to collaborate with the City of Grande Prairie to create the 2025 Halloween Spooktacular that starts at Bonnetts Energy Centre and involves businesses throughout the downtown area. This family-friendly daytime event is another great example of why the downtown is the heart of our city. It is a safe and vibrant environment to gather and connect as a community. Our members look forward to participating in the trick-or-treating again and spending the afternoon meeting families from all across the city,” says Downtown Association Executive Director Hywel Williams in a news release.
