SPRA bringing back Ghost Stories Friday and Saturday

Oct 24, 2025 | 6:00 AM

Something that is becoming a Halloween tradition returns this weekend.

Grande Prairie Ghost Stories is back for a fourth year, Friday and Saturday, starting at 7 p.m.at Bear Creek Funeral Home.

A news release from the South Peace Regional Archives calls this “an evening of haunted history, chilling local lore and mysterious tales drawn from our region’s past.”

“We add new stories every year and rotate through the ever-growing list of haunted locations and unexplained events, but I especially enjoy telling the crowd favourites previous attendees may recognize, like “Let me out – I’m not Supposed to be Here” and “An Industrious Lad.” With refreshments inspired by the stories, the evening promises to be a spine-chilling good time,” says organizer Eunice Friesen in that same release.

All proceeds go to the South Peace Regional Archives.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
