County of Grande Prairie Council under new leadership

A new Reeve and Deputy have been sworn in for the County of Grande Prairie.

Amanda McDonald from Division 1 was sworn in as Reeve, while Division 9 Councillor Bob Chrenek has taken the role of Deputy.

Both joined County Council in 2021, while McDonald served as Deputy for the former, now retired, Reeve Bob Marshall since October of last year.

A full list of committee appointments is now expected by the end of the week and will be shared on the County’s website.
