No injuries following gunfire incident in Fort St. John

A man is in police custody after reports of gunshots in the City of Fort St. John.

Mounties say they responded to reports of the gunshots in the early afternoon on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park.

The man, who has not been named by authorities, was arrested in relation to the incident shortly after RCMP attended the scene.

Police believe this was a targeted incident, and there is no ongoing risk to the public. There were also no reports of injuries following the shots fired.

A vehicle has been seized for forensic analysis, and an investigation is still underway.
