Peace River resident arrested on warrants

Peace Regional RCMP have arrested a wanted Peace River resident in Brownvale Monday, Oct. 27.

Fourty-two-year-old Rocky Douglas Garnett was arrested at a camper trailer behind a property after receiving reports of a possible sighting of a wanted male in the area of 2 Street.

Garnett was arrested on a warrant for flight from a police officer, stemming from a Peace River file.

He was brought before a Justice of the Peace and released with conditions to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River Nov. 10.
