Peace Regional RCMP arrest wanted woman

Peace Regional RCMP took an individual wanted on three charges into custody over the weekend.

On Sunday, Oct. 27, Mounties attended an area near Range Road 230 in Grimshaw and located a wanted woman hiding at a property, and took her into custody.

Thirty-one-year-old Grimshaw resident Sara Dawn Hewitt was remanded into custody on five charges, as two additional counts of failing to comply with a release were laid, in addition to previous charges.

A court date has been set for Monday, Nov. 3, in Peace River.
