PWPSD recognizes 2024-2025 retirees

Peace Wapiti Public School Division honoured its staff members that retired over the 2024-2025 school year at a luncheon event Oct. 30.

14 retirees were recognized, with a combined 340 years of service between them.

Notable retirees include Cliff Yanishewski retiring from Transportation after 32 years of service, Lori Szmul of Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre, 34 years of service and Kathy Hingley of Savanna School, 36 years of service.

PWPSD Superintendent Shawn O’Shea says he is very grateful for the retiree’s dedication to the division and its students.
