Bear Creek Ball Diamonds renamed to Fossil Energy Ball Park

The City of Grande Prairie has awarded the naming rights for the Bear Creek Ball Diamonds to Fossil Energy.

Officials say the partnership reflects the value of collaboration between local businesses and the city and allows Grande Prairie to enhance recreations spaces and create lasting benefits for residents.

Mayor Jackie Clayton says the diamonds have long been a part of Grande Prairie’s recreation history and continue to bring people together through sport and community spirit.

Signage for the now Fossil Energy Ball park will be installed in spring 2026.
