Peace Regional RCMP arrest two men in separate incidents on same day

Mounties in Peace River were busy on Tuesday, Nov.4 arresting two men wanted on warrants in separate communities.

RCMP responded to a report of a wanted Peavine Settlement man, 37-year-old Cody Lyndon Anderson, in Peace River and was arrested for ten warrants.

These warrants include; two counts of mischief, three counts of assault/assault with a weapon, uttering threats, theft under $5,000, two counts of failure to attend court, and failure to comply with a release order.

Anderson was additionally charged with three counts of failure to comply with a release order and was remanded into custody. A court date for him was set for Thursday, Nov. 6, in Falher.

Mounties also responded to a report of a suspicious man in Grimshaw at a property around 50 Avenue.

Edmonton resident, 35-year-old David Andrew Carlson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a break and enter in Barrhead.

Carlson was released from police custody after being brought before a Justice of the Peace and has a court appearance in Barrhead set for Nov. 19, 2025.
