No on-site physician at Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED multiple times Nov. 10-14

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be without an on-site physician three times this week.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, AHS says there will be no on-site physician from 8:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, to 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, to 8:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

AHS says nursing staff will remain on-site in the Emergency Department providing urgent triage and assessments, and the Virtual Emergency Physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
